Fetch the selected target resource immediately before payment. Base mainnet is eip155:8453; current SqueezeOS paid resources use USDC. Read exact amount, asset and payTo from the fresh PAYMENT-REQUIRED challenge.
Only the caller’s wallet/policy boundary may authorize a matching PAYMENT-SIGNATURE. SCRIPTMASTERLABS does not claim autonomous spending authority.
Authorization is not settlement. A 402 is not payment. Count a purchase only after verified settlement and accepted delivery.
